Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable, processing invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. Responsibilities: • Manage the accounts payable function and ensure all financial data is up to date • Process vendor invoices efficiently and promptly • Develop and maintain positive vendor relations to ensure smooth business operations • Ensure accurate matching, batching, and coding of invoices • Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary action when required • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit information Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar role within the accounting department. • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. • Ability to process invoices and expense reports accurately and on time. • Great attention to detail and the ability to spot numerical errors. • Effective communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal departments. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational skills for maintaining financial records and managing deadlines.
