Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Construction/Contractor industry located in Durham, North Carolina. This role involves processing a large volume of customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records and handling customer inquiries, in addition to monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action. Responsibilities: • Handle a daily influx of customer credit applications from various locations • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications • Utilize accounting software systems to maintain precise customer credit records • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in customer records and account coding • Resolve customer inquiries related to their credit applications and accounts • Monitor customer accounts and execute necessary actions based on their status • Manage accounting functions related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting • Oversee transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) for seamless financial operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is a crucial requirement for this role. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is expected. • Knowledge of diverse Accounting Functions is necessary. • Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is a key requirement. • Understanding and experience in Accrual Accounting is needed. • Prior experience in Auditing is essential for this role. • Familiarity with the Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
