Accounts Payable Specialist
Description About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with demonstrated experience in the construction industry to join our team. If you're organized, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and have expertise in construction-specific accounting processes, we’d love to hear from you! This role requires proficiency in job costing, strong familiarity with ProContractor, Sage, or Intacct software, and an understanding of preliminary notices (prelims) and lien releases. Key Responsibilities: + Accounts Payable Management: Process and code invoices to the appropriate general ledger and job cost accounts. + Job Costing Expertise: Maintain accuracy in job cost data and accounting processes, ensuring all documents align with construction project budgets and standards. + Vendor Relationship Management: Communicate with vendors to reconcile statements, resolve payment discrepancies, and manage payment schedules. + Lien Release Coordination: Ensure timely lien releases and preliminary notices are managed and filed appropriately. + Software Proficiency: Utilize ProContractor, Sage, or Intacct software to handle financial workflows. + Ensure all payables comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements related to construction projects.
