Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Aloha, OR. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of accounting functions, including the processing and coding of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and conducting audits. This role is integral to our team, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and highly organized. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process a high volume of invoices daily. • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in all accounting functions. • Utilize Sage Timberline for coding invoices. • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts. • Handle a significant amount of data entry tasks. • Oversee job costing and account coding. • Collect certified payroll from subcontractors and maintain accurate records. • Develop and maintain a filing system for Certificates of Insurance for up to 10 years, organized by job and subcontractor. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required. • Demonstrated understanding of core Accounting Functions. • Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP). • Auditing skills are necessary for this role. • Capability to accurately perform Coding Invoices is essential. • Knowledge in Job Cost is needed. • Familiarity with Sage Timberline software is a plus. • Must possess strong Data Entry skills.
