Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an accounts payable specialist to temporarily assist our team. 

Responsibilities

Match, batch, code, and enter invoices.Research, coordinate, and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors.Ensure all expenses are correctly allocated and documented.Review aging reports to identify invoices due in 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days.Prepare financial reports and perform month-end duties.Participate in the preparation of annual financial and other audits.Assist with journal entry preparation and documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of general accounting practices, including journal entry preparation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Advanced knowledge of computer accounting software.Typing speed of 45+ words per minute.Proficiency in 10-Key.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school graduate or possession of a GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.2 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance setting preferred.One year of Federally Qualified Health Center or similar experience preferred.Experience with computerized accounting and medical or dental billing systems preferred.Knowledge of healthcare accounting and finance is preferred.Knowledge of clinic operations is preferred.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.18 - $29.18/hr.
