**Description** Accounts Payable Specialist Department: Accounting Purpose & Scope: The A/P Specialist position is an entry-level accounting position, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor. This position assists the plant accounting team as needed with duties including but not limited to, cost of goods sold, financial reconciliations, and other responsibilities. This position also requires interface with other JBS Souderton departments and will assist in daily/month-end reconciliation, daily/weekly production reports, and with different accounting audits. Primary Responsibilities: + Verification, tracking, and accounting for daily delivery of inventory + Ensure invoice accuracy, clarify any questionable items/prices,and make paymentpromptly + Process daily/weekly freight& commission payments + Contact supplier weekly for delivery verification + Assist with month-end close responsibilities, including preparation and entering journal entries + Cross-training within the department– other duties as assigned. + Proper filling and documentation of all payments paperwork Requirements: + College degree in a related field preferred + Computer skills and good interpersonal skills + Attention to detail + Microsoft Office experience required + SAP experience preferred + 1-2years experience in Account payable or related field Benefits: + Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K + Vacation, sick leave, and six company-observed holidays + Better Future Program-2-year MONTCO Community College tuition paid for employees and dependents Be Extraordinary.
