Description Robert Half's publishing client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of our accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and proven experience with NetSuite. Responsibilities: + Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals. + Manage vendor relationships, including communication regarding invoice discrepancies and payment status. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues. + Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. + Maintain accurate accounts payable records in NetSuite. + Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable. + Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. + Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts payable. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: + 3 years of experience in accounts payable. + Demonstrable experience with NetSuite is desired, not required. + Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and best practices. + Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Associate's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
