Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to accounts payable in a dynamic work environment. The position is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: • Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring correct coding, entering and posting into the accounting system. • Oversee full cycle accounts payable processes, from receipt and approval of invoices to payment disbursement and reconciliation. • Handle purchase order-related invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are present. • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, responding to inquiries, resolving discrepancies and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner. • Utilize accounting systems and other technology tools to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows. • Exhibit strong communication skills and flexibility in a fast-paced corporate setting, effectively collaborating with cross-departmental teams. • Support month-end close by reconciling accounts payable accounts, generating aging reports and assisting in accruals.
