Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and offers the flexibility to work remotely for two days each week.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and review invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper coding and approval.Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving any discrepancies.Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve any payment issues.Reconcile vendor statements and manage vendor inquiries.Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma, would prefer AS of BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
