What You’ll Do As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll handle everything from processing vendor payments to reconciling accounts and month-end closings. You’ll: + Coordinate all cash outflows, such as inventory purchases, operating expenses, etc. + Partner with Supply Chain to manage payment terms and prepayments + Track and recommend payment timing based on forecasted cash balances + Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents + Prepare recurring check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions + Assist with month-end closings + Respond to internal and external inquiries with professionalism and clarity + File and maintain accurate financial documentation + Provide backup to other Finance team members as needed What We’re Looking For + Associate degree in Accounting, or 3–5 years of relevant experience + Solid knowledge of ERP systems and electronic invoice tools + Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities + Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency + Strong organizational and communication skills + Ability to work onsite as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams Physical Demands & Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Accounts Payable Specialist role.
