The AP Specialist III checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable. Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting

Your Impact Review and approve invoices based on three-way matchCarry out uninvoiced, billing gap and pending approval reporting activities according to specific deadlinesReconciliation of accountsMonitoring of vendor account details for all exceptions and other irregularitiesMaintain accounts receivable customer files with backup for invoicesFollow established procedures for processing receipt, pending approvals due to system tolerance failurePromptly investigate and resolve vendor queries regarding purchase orders, invoices and paymentsPrepare month end journal entriesCreates methods and procedures on new assignments Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.Associates Degree or equivalent training, education and experience beyond high school required.
