The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee the accounts payable process, manage a team, ensure accurate invoice processing and payments, implement internal controls, and provide financial reports to management.
How You'll Make a Difference
Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Oversee reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of discrepancies.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Provide training and guidance to accounts payable staff.Review and approve payment batches before processing.Analyze accounts payable data and provide financial reports to management.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred)Proven experience in accounts payableMinimum of two years in a supervisory roleMust be authorized to work in the U.S.We Take Care of the WHOLE You
