We are currently hiring a Insurance Accounting Supervisor in the Hub Financial Center (HFC), the centralized accounting team for HUB International. This opportunity is primarily responsible for posting of direct bill commissions received from carriers.

The Insurance Accounting Supervisor leads the success, growth, efficiency, and progress of their dedicated department. This leader is passionate about the impact they have and utilize their strengths to create a unit that not only exceeds in productivity but also, promotes model behavior to the Hub community culture. Driving and guiding the process improvement, collaboration, and engagement across their supporting leads and core team members. They are committed to providing their team with clear expectations championing them to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations fostering high performance and employee engagement Develop, coach, and provide feedback involving quality, accountability and productivityCreate development plans to enhance individual and team capabilitiesCoordinates and leads team meetings to ensure alignment with company goals and objectivesAccomplishes departmental objectives by measuring results, identifying process improvements, and making required changes as necessaryMonitor department metrics and KPIs to identify trends and drive improvementsStrategizes with Department Manager and Senior Manager on efficiencies Builds and maintains positive connections with Hub leaders and regional partnersAnalyzes opportunities within functional area, and recommends proactive solutionsCultivate a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes innovationActively engage in projects or additional assignments

Required-Preferred Qualifications:

Required 2+ years with a proven track record of directly overseeing a successful team Required 2+years of experience in the insurance accounting, accounts payable, banking or billing fields Required 2+years of experience managing performance, behaviors, and production. Professional certification or BA in Business, Accounting, or related area is preferredIntermediate to advanced computer program skills in all Microsoft Office Suite Passionate about team development and fostering personal and professional growthAdaptability to shifting priorities, managing multiple projects, and leading to achieve effective results in a growing environment Excellent verbal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationshipsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado, California and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $66,560 to $76,960 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
