Description Our client is in need of an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team! The role involves overseeing a high volume, multi-entity, accounts payable process in their rapidly expanding business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relations, processing purchase orders, handling check runs, carrying out ACH transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. Additionally, this role will ensure proper vendor setup, provide adhoc reporting, utilize trends to develop efficiencies and oversee a staff of 1-2 clerks. Requirements • Possess 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable Management role or similar • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures • Familiarity with Accrual Accounting principles • Experience in Auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations • Skilled in Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Proficiency in 3 Way Matching, reconciling invoices, purchase orders, and received reports • Knowledge of Inventory Accounting, managing and tracking company's inventory • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and other advanced functions.
