What you will do…
Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and professional developmentOversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices and paymentsDevelop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with financial regulationsManage vendor relationships, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionallyConduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policiesCollaborate with internal teams to support expense management, financial reporting and budgeting processesPrepare and present reports on accounts payable metrics to senior leadershipAssist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are accurately recordedStay updated on industry best practices and trends in accounts payable processes and technologyWhat you bring…
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulationsProficient in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advance excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, coupled with excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate clear and concise interactions with team members, vendors, and leadershipDetail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with process improvement initiatives is a plusAxxess is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
