Accounts Payable Supervisor

The #2 ranked in year-over year relative growth Convenience Store in the US is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join its Finance/Accounting Team. Reporting to an AP Manager, who reports directly to the Corporate Controller, this member of the team will be responsible for ensuring timely accurate payment of amounts owed to our vendors. The position requires a high--energy, deadline-driven, results-oriented person with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This position must be able to work independently and also build rapport and cultivate solid relationships with team members at all levels of the company.
Duties include:
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts payable ledger
Resolve any accounts payable issues or discrepancies
Manage vendor relationships and resolve vendor inquiries
Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures
Prepare accounts payable reports for management
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
