Accounts Receivable Analyst
Description Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a local non-profit organization that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to help maintain financial integrity while supporting their programs and initiatives. In this Accounts Receivable Analyst role, you will be responsible for managing the organization’s receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, and maintaining strong relationships with donors, grantors, and program partners. The ideal candidate AR Analyst has experience in nonprofit accounting, a passion for financial accuracy, and a commitment to advancing the organization's mission through sound financial management. Key Responsibilities: + Invoice Management, prepare and send invoices for grants, contracts, sponsorships, and program fees. + Payment Processing, record and reconcile incoming donations, grants, and other revenue streams. + Aging Report Analysis, monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and recommend strategies for improved collections. + Grant & Donor Tracking, ensure accurate allocation of funds, in compliance with grant and donor restrictions. + Reconciliation, perform monthly reconciliations of accounts receivable and deferred revenue accounts. + Financial Reporting, assist with financial reporting and audit preparation, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP). + Process Improvement, identify and implement best practices to enhance AR efficiency. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud Financial Edge, NetSuite) and donor management systems. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity. + Ability to collaborate across teams and maintain positive relationships with donors and grantors. **For immediate and confidential consideration, please apply directly or send your resume to Jenny Bour via LinkedIn.
