The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.
The Cash Application Analyst is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing incoming payments and applying them to the appropriate customers accounts. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate cash application, and identifying discrepancies to support the accounts receivable process. The Cash Application Analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of the company’s financial records and contributing to positive cashflow.
As an AR Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Payment processing: accurately post and allocate incoming payments from various sources (wire transfers, credit cards, checks) to customer accounts daily.
Reconciliation: regularly reconcile cash application activity with bank statements and internal accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Unapplied payments management: track and investigate any unallocated or unapplied payments, working with internal departments or clients to ensure proper application.
Customers account analysis: review customers account to confirm that payments are applied correctly. And perform necessary adjustments if needed.
Dispute resolution: collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies, payment holds, or customer disputes effectively.
Reporting: prepare and analyze cash application reports, including daily cash receipts, monthly closing reports and provide insights on receivables.
Compliance and record-keeping: maintain complete and accurate records of all cash applications, adhering to company policies and financial regulations.
Process improvement: identify areas of improvement in the cash application process to increase efficiency and accuracy, including automation initiatives where applicable.

Who You are:
Excellent Hebrew and English language skills, both verbal and written.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in cash application, account receivable, or similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency with accounting and ERP software (Oracle, SAP).
Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
Effective communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and clients.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Being a team player with a can-do-mentality.
