The Opportunity:

Facilitate team to prepare, track, and collect over 3,000 invoices monthly related to projects within the confines of FAR regulations and company policies.

Monitor and approve A/R agings, past due reports, general ledger reconciliations and creation.

Ensure efficient collections of receivables to meet/exceed stated cash and service level objectives weekly/monthly/quarterly.

Be a Subject Matter Expert to ensure compliance with Accounts Receivables Policies, Procedures, and SOX key controls.

Assist manager to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

Heavy use of Costpoint financial system to create and/or review refunds & reclasses to projects in accordance with CACI standards and policies.

Influences others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures.

Support of internal, external and government audits and SOX compliance as required.

Assist Manager functions to include on-boarding and training, as well as employee administration, terminations, recordkeeping, and timesheets.

May provide transactional approvals for journal entries, refunds, and other financial transactions.

Monitors quality assurance and service delivery performance metrics.

Conducts analyses, makes recommendations or prepares reports as related to productivity of staff and quality of work.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, test and implement efficient solutions

Streamline and revise Accounts Receivable procedures; recommend changes leading to best practices and provide solutions to management

Create ad-hoc reports and report accurate data to stakeholders


Responsibilities:

Backup Manager with various tasks and team guidance

Complete deadlines to support DSO and Cashflow goals

Follow compliance standards

Communicate across various groups

Contribute to team success

Learn systems to facilitate task completion

Qualifications:

Required: 

Outcome driven mindset with complete focus on enabling the business

6+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting or a comparative level of job experience.

Skilled in Excel & COGNOS and ability to use at an intermediate to advanced level including, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and complex formulas

Work independently and/or with limited guidance.

Work within collaborative teams.

Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation

Be present and available to the team.

Skilled in communicating effectively and professionally in all platforms:  verbally in person, by phone, email, conference calls, etc.

Knowledge of FAR, Contracts, Billing, Accounts Receivable requirements to meet Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) objectives.

Knowledge of government billing platforms; WAWF, GSA, MPO, IPP, and other 3rd government third party payment sites.

Always on the alert for continuous improvement opportunities within the Accounts Receivable department and cross-functional areas.

Ability to meet or exceed deadlines and prioritize your work accordingly.

Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley control testing and documentation

Organized and focused to drive meaningful results, process improvements, manage complexity, and meet operational deadlines

Strong ability to work as a team, strong collaboration and develop business relationships to drive outcomes

Ability to identify gaps in processing and controls based on current system functionality and features


Desired:

Knowledge of government accounting.

Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards related to billing and accounts receivable

Experience working in Costpoint

Knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$50,400 - $105,800
