Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. You will also collaborate with team members to prepare weekly and monthly operating results.

$29.00 – $31.00 / hour

What will you do? Generate client invoicing for all catering and suites daily events Research backup documentation, including sales reports and BEOs for all client invoices and provide to the client with daily invoice Research and provide additional backup to client as needed Run and review accounts receivable aging report as needed Monitor the accounting general email Process customer refund requests Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable collections with client and review with accounting management Systems maintenance and statistical data entry Cross-train in accounts payable system and assist as needed Other duties as assigned

More about you Must be at least 18 years of age At least one year of accounting experience is required.  Two + years is preferred Skills demonstrating critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence with specialized software platforms are highly preferred Prior accounts receivable experience preferred Prior general ledger experience preferred Financial analysis skills are preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office product: Intermediate Excel knowledge is a must Excellent communication skills (oral & written) are required Excellent organizational & time management skills are required Excellent attention to detail is required
