Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Washington, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering a great opportunity to grow within a supportive and expanding department. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring timely and efficient processing of receivables.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure balances are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Generate and review invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and client agreements.
• Monitor incoming payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain detailed payment records.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare accurate financial reports and statements.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite tools to organize and manage financial data efficiently.
• Learn and operate the Accumatica system to support daily accounts receivable activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address payment-related inquiries.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting software, such as Accumatica.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial processes.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
