Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring efficient processing of operations in our company. Your primary duties will include handling accounts receivable duties and B2B collections, along with other related tasks. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts receivable transactions • Handle B2B collections, maintaining detail oriented relationships with clients • Oversee cash applications to keep our financial records organized • Monitor customer accounts and address any discrepancies or queries • Work towards resolving customer inquiries in a prompt and detail oriented manner • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial procedures and regulations • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations • Contribute to the team's objectives to maintain high-quality service. Requirements • Proficient knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) collections • Demonstrable skills in Cash Applications • Strong understanding of accounting principles • Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
