Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and processing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate financial records, and facilitating timely customer payments. You will also be involved in managing customer credit risk and overseeing credit and collections processes. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and manage all aspects of accounts receivable including customer payments, statements, and invoices. • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions. • Generate and submit invoices in line with organizational practices. • Utilize accounting software to manage financial data, reconcile discrepancies, and produce detailed financial reports. • Compile detailed financial reports such as aging reports, credit evaluations, sales tax filings, and customer account statements. • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations at the federal, state, and organizational levels. • Perform routine banking tasks including recording and analyzing bank statement information. • Create and distribute reports on account status and delinquent accounts, and follow up with customers on past-due payments. • Evaluate customer credit risk and manage credit and collections processes. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely month-end closing of accounts receivable. • Research and administer credit and collection programs, supporting decision-making on account risks.
