Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Newport, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle various tasks related to accounts receivable in the retail industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications • Resolve account or payment discrepancies through research and query resolution • Conduct outbound collection calls as required • Keep customer records/files updated and accurate • Carry out daily report entries • Draft customer correspondence and monthly statements • Ensure secure payment for outgoing orders • Undertake any other duties as assigned *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements • Prior work experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk • Experience in B2B collections • Proficiency in billing procedures • Strong numerical skills for accurate record keeping • Proficient with accounting software • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and resolving disputes • Detail-oriented for ensuring accurate invoicing • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Solid time management skills to meet deadlines • Good understanding of the retail industry's financial regulations.
