Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in our finance department and is based in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing customer credit applications, ensuring accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer credit records • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Keeping a close watch on customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary • Issuing credit/debit memos after thorough validation of information from requests • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and SAP for various tasks related to account reconciliation and billing • Working closely with the adjustments team to ensure smooth operations • Applying cash collections skills to manage commercial collections effectively.
