Accounts Receivable Clerk
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will be a part of an industry that focuses on customer service and sales, working in an environment that values office functions, reporting, and procedures. This role provides an opportunity to apply your skills in compliance, payment processing, cash activity, and review, specifically in the context of Accounts Receivable (AR). Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer payments using various methods such as checks/cash, EFT, Online Bill Pay, and Drivers NSFs. • Maintain an Account Portfolio of 1000 accounts, ensuring that terms and notes for customers are kept up to date. • Conduct research to resolve discrepancies and credits on customer accounts. • Regularly review accounts to ensure compliance with Nevada credit law and standard operating procedures. • Distribute monthly statements to customers and notify them of any changes to their terms. • Collaborate with the sales department and other teams to address disputes on accounts. • Maintain a high standard of customer service by promptly answering customer questions and efficiently resolving concerns. • Keep accurate records of customer accounts, reflecting their current status. • Handle a high volume of orders and calls, ensuring customer service quality is upheld. • Independently manage your time and tasks, demonstrating your ability to work without direct supervision. Requirements • Demonstrable skills in Customer Service and Sales • Proficient in Office Functions and Reporting • Knowledge of Procedures and Compliance in relation to Accounts Receivable • Experience in Payment Processing and Cash Activity Management • Ability to Review and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Scheduling and Supervising tasks • Competence in using 'About Time' software • Capability to perform Receptionist Duties • Proficiency in Check Processing and Collection Processes • Understanding of Credit management and Deposits • Ability to handle Financial Notes and identify Discrepancies • Familiarity with various Payment Methods • Experience with Video Conferencing and Research Analysis • Ability to handle Authorizations and manage Customer Accounts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
