Description Our organization operates within the manufacturing industry and is located in New York. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to contribute their skills to our team. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities include: • Detailed and accurate processing of customer credit applications • Maintaining customer credit records with high precision • Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action when required • Assisting with Cash Collections and Commercial Collections • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks • Engaging in Account Reconciliation duties • Completing Billing and Cash Applications tasks • Taking on additional responsibilities within the accounting team as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation is required. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Should possess strong skills in Billing processes. • Experience in Cash Applications is expected. • Previous involvement in Cash Collections is necessary. • Familiarity with Commercial Collections is essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience with QuickBooks software is expected. • Knowledge and experience in SAP is preferred.
