Description We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client’s team in Mission Valley, San Diego! They are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Their San Diego office is looking for a Temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers. Responsibilities + Perform high-volume data entry of financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. + Post and process credit card payments from clients and debtors in accordance with firm policies. + Accurately enter payment details into ProLaw to maintain up-to-date client billing records. + Assist in reviewing and updating client payment records to support accurate financial reporting. + Work closely with the accounting team to resolve data discrepancies or payment issues. + Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal industry standards for handling sensitive financial information. + Support additional data entry and administrative tasks as assigned to assist the firm’s financial operations. Requirements + Strong proficiency in high-volume data entry and 10-key typing with a low error rate. + Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions. + Ability to navigate accounting and billing software (ProLaw experience preferred). + Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. + Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. + Ability to handle confidential legal and financial information with discretion. + Prior experience in a legal, financial, or professional services setting is a plus.
