We are currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a key role in managing customer payment processes, resolving billing issues, and maintaining strong relationships within an assigned client portfolio. This hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility of remote work combined with in-person collaboration as needed.

About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will ensure accurate, timely customer payments and resolve any discrepancies in billing or purchase orders. Your role is vital to maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering trust with our clients. You will leverage your knowledge of accounts receivable practices, problem-solving expertise, and interpersonal skills to drive results and uphold Broadridge's high standards.

Responsibilities

Record, verify, analyze, and report accounts receivable transactions while maintaining the accounts receivable ledger and preparing financial statements.

Post customer payments promptly to ensure timely updates to accounts.

Contact customers from your assigned portfolio to address and resolve payment-related issues, fostering strong client relationships.

Perform collections for delinquent accounts by reaching out to customers and negotiating payment arrangements.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing amounts, purchase orders, or other errors affecting account balances.

Apply your knowledge of accounting principles and company procedures to analyze and solve straightforward problems within accounts receivable workflows.

Provide informal guidance to new team members and share best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related discipline.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with HighRadius and Oracle software is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate possible solutions using established procedures and precedents.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information clearly and effectively.

A detail-oriented and organized work style, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
