Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Anchorage Office

**Job Description**
The Seasonal Accounts Receivable Coordinator duties include creating invoices to our customers, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ideal dates of employment are May 1 - September 17, 2025.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
+ Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables? data.
+ Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
+ Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
+ Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients? billing issues.
+ Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
+ Understand AR processes.
+ Be able to troubleshoot and solve process issues
+ Provide backup for month end close process.
+ Maintain service level agreements and key performance indicators.
+ Respond timely to inquiries, research, and resolves discrepancies.
+ Outstanding ability to execute multiple projects and assignments without error, but with high attention to detail.
+ Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues as well as various levels of leadership.

**Qualifications**
+ Some experience with Accounts Receivables
+ Solid understanding of basic accounting (https://resources.workable.com/accounting-clerk-job-description) principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
+ Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
+ Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
+ Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
+ Proficiency in MS Office
+ Customer service orientation
+ A problem solver and a team player
+ Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
