CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee a company’s billing operations across multiple locations in several states. This is a direct hire opportunity located in the Rockville, MD area.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
• This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, optimizing the billing process, and managing customer accounts to improve efficiency and cash flow.
• Oversee the daily operations of billing and accounts receivable departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple offices.
• Develop and implement billing and accounts receivable policies and procedures to enhance performance.
• The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Manage customer billing portals, ensuring timely work order processing and invoice uploads.
• Implement collection strategies to improve cash flow and minimize outstanding receivables.
• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and take appropriate action on overdue accounts.
• Lead, mentor, and provide training opportunities for staff.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

Desired Background/Skills:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in billing operations and/or accounts receivable, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience managing eBilling processes and third-party portal management.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Other Information:

Potential quarterly Profit-Sharing opportunities – can range between $2-5k a quarter
Experience with Busisness-to-Business AR .
