The Opportunity

The Accounts Receivable Officer provides quality, timely support services to the local Finance Manager and other local departments. They have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in accounts receivable. They will be comfortable working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Please note: This is a 12-month contracted position.

Responsibilities

Administer Accounts Receivable transactions including processing of invoices, sending invoices to clients, follow-up on client statements and client payments, administration of the Receivables Ledger, generating and checking reportsManagement of customer queries, including miscellaneous administration tasks including (but not limited to) responding to telephone & email enquiries, filing of paperwork, and preparing reportsPreparing weekly debtor reports for Managers. Accuracy in the creation of timed and ad-hoc reportingOverseeing and contributing towards bank reconciliations and receiptingEOM assistance

1-2 years in a similar roleService oriented and can communicate with stakeholders efficiently and effectivelyExperience with managing multiple tasks and the ability to problem solveExcellent oral and written communication skillsHigh level computer skillsWell organised with high attention to detail
