ABOUT THE VIE:

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

Therefore, only applications that are submitted in English will be considered.

JOB PURPOSE

Accounts Receivables & Revenue Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch accounting services while spearheading process improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills, financial expertise, and show your leadership abilities in a global healthcare company.

Key Dimensions:

The Analyst of Receivables & Revenue Accounting reports to Head of Invoicing, Cash Application & Reporting / Receivables & Revenue Accounting Lead and works closely with Customer Service, Finance, Treasury, Account to Report, Trade and the CI2C team.

Main responsibilities: 

Deliver the following tasks / services to Head of Europe for CHC entities:

Analyze business processes, initiate and lead process improvement projects.Conduct a comprehensive analysis of team processes to identify efficiency opportunities and spearhead improvement initiatives.Design, implement, and lead strategic improvement initiativesDrive process automation efforts and ensure smooth adoption

Day-to-day responsibilities of the team, for which the above process improvement initiatives will be delivered:

Manage invoice booking, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable (AR) processesOwn revenue recognition (Trade & non-Trade) and related accountingExecute AR monthly closing and reporting activities (reconcile AR postings with GL, analyze & resolve discrepancies, post adjustment entries)Prepare month end and ad-hoc reports for revenue and AR analysis by defined deadlinesAnalyze AR Ageing, DSO and other KPI reportsRecommend bad debt reserves and post entriesContribute to business reviews and strategic decision-makingExecute in compliance with Sanofi policies, guidelines and Global Core Model  

Continuous improvement

Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activitiesParticipate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition

About you:

Background

Graduate or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business informaticsExperience in multinational environment preferably on AR or data analytics is a plusFluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plusStrong understanding of accounting principles and monthly closure processes

Functional

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and qualityGood business acumen

Technical

Computer literate and familiar with accounting applications (knowledge of SAP will be an advantage)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel and VBA macrosExperience with business intelligence tools and data analytics platforms

Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional mannerTeam player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with Ci2C front line teams with an end to end mindsetGood communication skillsAttentive to customer needs and feedback
