Accounts Receivable Reconciliation Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Reconciliation Specialist Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing bank reconciliations, distributing cash balance reports to management, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in expense report submissions. Additionally, you will reconcile various general ledger accounts, develop and maintain organized work papers, and collaborate with other departments to review financial information. Adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies is essential. Responsibilities + Complete bank reconciliations for the company’s reporting entities + Complete and distribute the company’s cash balance report to management + Act as liaison for the company’s corporate card program ensuring compliance and accuracy of all expense report submissions + Handle monthly reporting and respond to management inquiries + Develop and maintain complete, accurate, and organized work papers + Reconcile various general ledger accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved timely + Prepare account reconciliations and supporting documentation + Collaborate with other departments to gather and review financial information + Ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies Essential Skills + Proficiency in invoicing, bank reconciliation, basic reporting, and credit card reconciliations + Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP + Experience with a Large ERP System + High attention to detail + Ability to hit tight deadlines + Comfortable with manual processes Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required + 4+ years of AR/Reconciliation experience + Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Ability to self-direct, prioritize tasks, and work with minimum supervision + Continues improvement mindset + Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office position with working hours between 8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday. The company offers a flexible start time between 7 am - 9 am, provided the schedule is consistent daily, with a requirement to work an 8-hour day. The accounting team consists of approximately 50 individuals, and the work environment is cubicle-style. Parking is available onsite for free. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $32.69 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
