Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play an integral part in managing accounts receivable and credit processes, while supporting overall financial operations. Responsibilities: • Post daily accounts receivable transactions for designated areas and provide backup support when necessary. • Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate account files. • Collaborate with the Credit Manager to process new credit applications and conduct credit reviews. • Prepare and distribute customer invoices and account statements. • Process customer payments via credit card and reconcile credit card activity reports. • Communicate with customers regarding payment discrepancies, overdue invoices, and final demand notices. • Assist in training staff across different departments and cross-train in various roles and responsibilities. • Serve as a backup for credit management tasks, including releasing credit holds when required. • Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Proficiency with accounting software systems and tools. • Experience with accounts receivable processes and billing functions. • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting. • Familiarity with CRM platforms to manage customer interactions effectively. • Ability to handle cash transactions and reconcile accounts accurately. • Excellent communication skills for customer and team interactions. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Previous experience in credit management or financial services is a plus.
