Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, cash applications, and other crucial accounts receivable functions. This position requires a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing to clients. • Apply cash deposits to corresponding invoices with precision. • Perform high-volume data entry tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. • Reconcile accounts receivable balances and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to accounting standards and procedures. • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial records effectively. • Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports for management review. • Support the team with additional accounting tasks as assigned. • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding account inquiries. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications. • Strong proficiency with accounting software systems and ERP platforms. • Familiarity with tools such as ADP, Epic Software, or similar financial systems. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial tasks. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. • Quick learner with the ability to follow directions and adapt to new processes. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
