Description Join a passionate and creative environment in Carlsbad as an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a leading performing arts organization. This role will actively contribute to managing the accounts receivable process while providing critical support to the accounting and finance team. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee the entire accounts receivable (AR) process, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and cash applications. + Work closely with internal departments to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies. + Manage AR aging reports, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. + Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger and maintain audit-ready documentation. + Track and report on organizational revenue, providing detailed analysis and insights. + Assist with annual audits, including preparing schedules and supporting documents. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required. + 3–5 years of hands-on AR and general accounting experience. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, particularly as they pertain to AR. + Experience using NetSuite ERP software is required; familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred. + Proficiency in Excel, including working with pivot tables and complex formulas. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
