Job Summary

QAP is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work daily at our office in Anchorage; the typical work week schedule is M-F, 8am – 5pm.

The AR Specialist ensures that all construction and manufacturing sales are invoiced promptly and accurately.

Main Responsibilities Processing daily billings and monthly statements for all construction and manufacturing customers Maintaining customer files Answering customer inquiries via phone and email Reconciling customer accounts after payments are received Following up and documenting efforts to collect past due receivables Researching and resolving billing discrepancies Facilitating customer requests for credit Working in conjunction with Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance to ensure the accuracy of billing information Assisting with related special projects as needed Other duties as assigned by Regional Controller Education/Work Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred 1-2 years in a similar job capacity.
