Accounts Receivable Specialist – India Hyderabad Office

The Accounts Receivable Specialist maintains customer accounts while safeguarding company assets. This role will oversee active analysis of customer accounts in order to maintain effective cash flow and satisfactory collection efforts.

 What you’ll be doing:

Manage daily Accounts Receivable functions. Reviewing and monitoring Accounts Receivable Aging. Following-up for collections with customer for unpaid and partially paid invoices through emails/calls. Implementing appropriate collections strategies to meet targeted collections. Monitoring payments and identify risk of delayed payments. Ensure customer queries are attended to and resolved in a timely manner. Proactive identification and resolution of potential difficult debtor's account. Ensure the invoices and receipts are performed in good manner. Reconciliation of debtors aging and collections. Knowledge of indirect tax would be an added advantage. Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time. Ensure all account receivable records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system. Arrange check collection from the customers Participate in month end closing, including accruals, reconciliation, and journal entries Supporting with any projects related to system enhancement, process improvement for collections Preparation of monthly AR reports Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

 

What we’re looking for:

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Somebody local to our office in Hyderabad.

 Education:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Possess mature personality, good communication skill, meticulous and able to work with all levels of staff in the organization. Familiar with accounting software would be preferred.
