JOB SUMMARY

In this role, your work plays an integral role in maintaining our customer service and cash flow, while also providing the foundation for building our financial statements. This position is located in Wichita, KS and is not open to remote locations.
DURING A TYPICAL DAY
Provide timely, efficient, and effective collection efforts to ensure customers fulfill their financial obligations.Detect patterns delaying payment of accounts receivable and take action to prevent reoccurrence.Identify, research, and resolve counterparty payment discrepancies.Assist cash application in applying funds received to correct AR invoices, including partial or under payment.Daily follow up on all outstanding counterparty invoices. Generate invoices daily and review for accuracy before distribution to the customer.Answer customer inquiries about deliveries, invoice and BOL copies via telephone and email.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer disputes/billing errors.Collaborate with cross functional teams on various projects with a focus on seeking and sharing knowledge.Challenge the status quo and identify value creation opportunities.Maintain and update process documentation for role.Since we are all about teamwork and getting the job done, your skills may be put to a lot of other uses!
QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in accounting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field Experience working with Microsoft Office including MS Excel and OutlookExperience in Business-to-Business CollectionsSTRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
