Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Los Angeles, California. This role involves various tasks related to maintaining and processing customer credit applications and records, as well as handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Engage in regular communication with clients to establish and maintain good relationships. • Ensure the billing system is kept up-to-date and execute billing, cash management, and reporting activities in accordance with client contract requirements and specific deadlines. • Reconcile customer account details, specifically focusing on non-payments, discrepancies, delayed payments, and other irregularities. • Prepare and maintain accurate accounts receivable customer files and records. • Adhere to established procedures for processing customer receipts and preparing bank deposits. • Actively investigate and resolve client queries and requests. • Develop and implement a recovery system, initiate collection efforts, and process adjustments as needed. • Assist with accounting month-end and year-end closings. • Analyze client data and activities and prepare monthly metrics to update management. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with a demonstrated ability to reconcile financial discrepancies efficiently. • Solid working knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), with the ability to manage and track outstanding payments. • Experience in Billing, capable of accurately generating invoices and statements for customers. • Expertise in Cash Applications, with the ability to correctly apply payments to customer accounts. • Proven experience in Cash Collections, with a track record of promptly following up on overdue accounts. • Strong skills in Commercial Collections, with the ability to negotiate payment plans and resolve customer disputes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, generate reports, and perform data analysis. • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM for customer relationship management and data tracking.
