Accounts Receivable SpecialistAre you the next Accounts Receivable Specialist we are looking for?
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of North American customer accounts and provide customer service related to invoices and payments.
Respond to customer requests and provide requested data to clients and internal departments, such as summaries of accounts, copy invoices, and other documentation.
Research payments and unallocated cash for the Americas territories.
Contact clients to follow up on payments.
Common Accountabilities:
Analyze and collect on a large portfolio of business-to-business accounts in the hotel industry, with an estimated 250 client contacts per month via phone and email.
Answer client questions, provide invoice copies and contracts as necessary to facilitate customer payment.
Work with clients by phone and email to obtain payment remittance details, reconcile payment discrepancies, and resolve invoice disputes.
Identify unapplied payments and recommend adjustments or refunds as appropriate.
Send payment demands, apply and review credit holds, and suspend services on non-paying clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes.
Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
Work Environment:
The position is based in our office in Bogota, Colombia as Hybrid work model.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of corporate collections and/or client service experience in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Experience in international business collections.
Self-starter with high energy and minimal supervision required.
Analytical with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent telephone presence with strong negotiating skills.
Well-organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com is a plus.
