Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the media industry, based in Fort Myers, Florida. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in managing and keeping accurate records of accounts receivable, processing invoices, and generating financial reports. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will also be expected to oversee the billing process and carry out account reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Administer the accounts receivable process and maintain the billing system • Generate invoices and account statements on a regular basis • Conduct reconciliations of accounts accurately and in a timely manner • Keep meticulous records of accounts receivable files • Facilitate efficient communication within the company regarding account inquiries • Generate financial and management reports monthly • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required Requirements • Candidate should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Prior work experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Media industry is highly desirable. • Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Exceptional ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. • Proficiency in using accounting software and databases, with a focus on automation and streamlining of processes. • Strong data entry skills, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy. • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of detail orientation. • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and internal teams. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • A commitment to continuous development in the field of accounting and finance.
