Adecco is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity with our local client in Carlsbad, California. Apply now for immediate consideration! **Responsibilities:** + The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for: + Preparing and mailing customer invoices daily and monthly statements. + Entering cash receipts and accurately applying payments to customer accounts. + Processing credit card payments and credits. + Reconciling customer statements and resolving payment discrepancies. + Preparing and making deposits as needed. + Preparing weekly DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) reports. + Completing timely accounts receivable account reconciliation and aging. + Assisting in monthly closings. + Enforcing credit policies and limits; managing credit holds and account suspensions. + Responding to customer inquiries. + Maintaining accounts receivable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate files. + Assisting the Controller and CFO as necessary. + Supporting financial statement audits. + Preparing account analysis as required. + Performing other duties as assigned. **Preferred Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: **Education and Experience:** + High School Diploma or GED required. One year of related experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. **Skills and Abilities:** + Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable procedures. + Proficient in data entry (10-key and typing). + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with an accounting or ERP software package is required. + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Must be flexible with work schedule and possess a strong sense of integrity and trustworthiness. **Pay Rate:** The starting pay rate for this position is $23-25 per hour, with overtime as needed.
