Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry located in SOLON, Ohio. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring customer accounts, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Ensure invoices and shipments are processed in a timely manner • Monitor and follow up on Accounts Receivable Report weekly • Conduct weekly comparisons of My Invoice report against the AR Report, and liaise with the relevant government agency for any discrepancies • Regularly review customer accounts to ensure they are not in arrears and credits are cleared • Maintain current files of invoices, paid statements, contracts, and payments • Manage all monthly activity including payments, invoicing, and adjustments • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient workflow • Manage cash activities and maintain accurate records of cash handling.
