Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Service industry for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The chosen individual will play an integral role in customer service, credit evaluation, and leadership. This position will involve managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining records. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the processing of customer credit applications ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly. • Lead the credit screening and evaluations, including financial statement and key business ratio analysis. • Ensure understanding and compliance with consumer credit legislation, letters of credit, and guarantees. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as required. • Navigate and utilize various PC systems, including Office Suite and accounting software systems. • Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries. • Exercise strong leadership and decision-making skills in overseeing the Accounts Receivable team. • Foster employee engagement and retention through effective coaching and training. • Uphold a strong work ethic, demonstrating accuracy, efficiency, and sound judgment in all tasks. Interested candidates please contact Tamara Young 757-981-0974 Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounts receivable. • Proficiency in using accounting software systems. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CRM systems. • Extensive experience in accounts receivable (AR) and billing functions. • Proven ability to make informed credit decisions. • Familiarity with setting credit limits and assessing credit worthiness. • Experience handling multiple vendors simultaneously. • Outstanding customer service skills. • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of supervising and mentoring a team. • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
