Accounts Receivables Analyst (Cash Application) - Dayshift

The Role
As a Cash Applications Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing Willis Towers Watson’s AR processing, and cash application serving North America, EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions. You will also perform more complex processing for specific receivables transactions (e.g. products, commissions).

Process receipt of payments on client accounts Research and resolve unapplied/unidentified/under/over payments Perform A/R account reconciliations and close coordination Pocess refunds / credits & debit notes Perform A/R reporting where required Handle customer inquiries as required Successfully handle most non-routine issues, and escalate to Supervisor issues that cannot be resolved Ensure all work is performed in accordance with targets Plan and organize work so that Service Level Agreement objectives are realized Contribute ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence Understand and apply Willis Towers Watson’s AR processes, policies, procedures and internal control standardsPeople
Interface with other GFS teams to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities Make strong contributions to the productivity of the team. Work effectively within the team dynamic Recognize and communicate potential issues to Supervisor as appropriate; suggest viable solutions for improvementThe Requirements
2+ years experience working in Accounts ReceivableOracle (or other ERP platform) Accounts ReceivableExperience in a shared services/internal service delivery role desirableProfessional Services (e.g. consulting, auditing, project-based) industry experienceSkilled in customer service interactions/ability to communicate with professional image/ customer-focused mindset through various channels (e.g. phone, e-mail, etc.)Understanding of accounting processesBeing adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skillsGood data entry skillsAbility to pay attention to detailAbility to resolve exceptions and disputesAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesDemonstrate high degree of interpersonal, coaching facilitation and negotiating skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to work in a team as well as independentlyAbility to be flexible with position duties and scope of workStrong knowledge of MS ExcelProficiency in MS Word, Access, and PowerPointAssociates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
