We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal departments such as Finance and Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate e-billing of customer invoices. This role involves supporting the credit and collections team, maintaining good customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of invoicing processes.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information for e-billing customer invoices.
+ Support the credit and collections team to ensure timely collections while maintaining positive customer relationships.
+ Ensure timely invoice submission to clients based on agreed timelines with 3rd Party Billing Systems.
+ Coordinate credit applications and reference requests with customers and account set-up.
+ Reconcile customer accounts to aid in collection efforts, including reviewing invoice statuses in customer portals.
+ Research, reconcile, and review e-billing submissions for accuracy and resubmit invoices as needed.
+ Comply with standard operating procedures for customer invoicing and 3rd Party Billing Systems.
+ Process invoice rejections and disputes in a timely manner.
+ Escalate issues and approvals as appropriate.
+ Review all customer accounts in the Epicor system weekly to ensure all invoices have been submitted.
+ Review various reports, documents, and online data systems to research problems.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of invoicing/billing experience, including uploading and submitting invoices into customer portals.
+ Ability to work in complex systems and handle complex invoicing processes.
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Epicor (nice to have).
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent research and follow-up skills.
Work Environment
The position requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day working from home after 1-2 weeks of training. Typical office hours are observed with flexibility for start times as needed. The office is located in a beautiful new building in Eagan, providing a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a global organization.
