This role will ensure all regulatory compliance with state, federal, and contractual agreements related to Specialty Pharmacy including multi-state licensure, limited distribution drug agreements and accreditation standards for Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) and The Joint Commission for Home Care Accreditation. This position will be responsible for the various specialty pharmacy accreditation applications, as well as, maintenance of these accreditations including policies and procedures, quality improvement programs, education, monitoring, reporting and metrics. This position would be responsible for submission of required annual metrics associated with validation requirements for URAC.

**Education**
Required - 2 years experience as pharmacist
Preferred - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
**Work Experience**
Required - 2 years experience as pharmacist
Preferred - Experience in specialty pharmacy
**Type of License/Certification**
Required - License to practice Pharmacy by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
Preferred - Multi-state licensure
Certified Specialty Pa\harmacist (CSP)
**Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**
Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the accreditation process.
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
**Job Duties**
Works collaboratively with leadership to direct and manage area of expertise within Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy including monitoring, investigating, and analyzing program area to ensure compliance with goals required by regulatory oversight.
Gathers and submits all required annual metrics associated with validation requirements for URAC.
Collaborates with vendors/partners on manufacturer agreements to limited distribution drugs
Coordinates the data agreements including mapping of data with coordination with pharmacy leadership and IS
Gathers data and staff input, solicits and collaborates with team members, and researches and reviews industry standards to meet technical goals and improve program performance.
Interprets standards related to regulatory and accrediting standards and educates staff members
Supports pharmacy leadership with regulatory requirements and ensures metrics gathered for compliance of multi-state licensure.
Reviews and revises Ochsner Specialty Pharmacy policies and procedures related to program area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
