The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Accreditation Specialist.
The Accreditation Specialist will play a critical role in managing the accreditation processes for the Master of Public Health Program, aligned with the Accreditation Criteria of the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This position involves working closely with the Accreditation Committee to ensure ongoing compliance and enhancement of program quality.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate and coordinate planning and operational activities to support accreditation processes.
Assist in drafting policies, developing procedures, setting timelines, implementing program reviews, and conducting learning assessments to measure program success.
Prepare written documentation including policies, program descriptions, and academic guidelines.
Deliver presentations on accreditation materials and progress.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures relevant to program activities and objectives.
Conduct and support quantitative and qualitative research, including survey research. Familiarity with SAS software is advantageous.
Engage in social media management and outreach activities to promote the program and its objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience or Master's degree with at least one year of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Anticipated Hiring Range:
$55,00 - $70,000 based on education and experience.
